The Cultural Association of Nigerians in North Alabama (CANNA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit cultural and progressive organization. Our focus is community involvement, giving back to our community. Our aims are to:
- Promote unity, progress, solidarity and understanding among all peoples in North Alabama
- Tap and harness our individual talents and channel them into a progressive and strong economic and social base for the good of the community
Amongst the priorities of CANNA is access to higher education and helping the youth grow and become productive members of society. Since its inception, CANNA has contributed to various charitable organizations and has been involved in several community events.
